History
Roseville Dental Practice commenced in the 1950s as a humble and welcoming dental practice, providing dental services for local families in Roseville. As time passed, more and more patients from the North Shore area and beyond came to see us because of our exceptional service and skills.
At Roseville Dental Practice, we know what we are doing because we have been around for so long and have gathered all our experiences to become who we are today - one of the leading dental practices in the North Shore area.
Mission
Since the beginning at Roseville Dental Practice, we have strived and committed to following three main goals of fine dentistry that makes us stand out in both our service and skills.
Preventative care: prevention is far better than cure. We strongly recommend all our patients to undertake a regular dental check up and clean every 6 months so that any issues can be discovered early and treated as soon as possible to reduce future treatments and expenses that could have been prevented.
Have a people focused approach to our patients: we’ve created a warm and welcoming space for our patients so that they can feel comfortable during their appointments. We take on a holistic dental care approach so your appointment with the dentist is 100% focused on you, your oral hygiene and your wellbeing!
Use the latest up to date technology: we attend annual conferences and are constantly learning about the latest digital implementations in the dental world. We recently upgraded to digital implants and our patients love it!
Principal Dentist
Dr Ian Y.E. Zhang
BDS, Post Grad Dip Clin Dent, M Heal Sci
Graduating from the prestigious University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dentistry, Postgraduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry and Master of Health Sciences, Dr Zhang moved to Sydney, Australia and worked as a dentist in many general practices. He has been a dentist since 1982 and took over Roseville Dental Practice in 2006. He also often visits the Sydney Adventist Hospital to provide special dental care to patients in wards.
Dr Zhang has treated patients of all ages from different backgrounds and enjoys getting to know and understand his patients better. He treats his patients with utmost care and loves the bright smiles he brings to his patients. He loves all things dentistry and has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, implants and wisdom teeth surgery. Dr Zhang is also a part of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and has given talks at multiple dental conferences to share his extensive experience as a dentist.
In his spare time, Dr Zhang loves travelling with his family, photography and various sports such as swimming and tennis. He is married and has two daughters. He is bilingual and speaks English and Mandarin.
